As well as enjoying a full day of science on Tuesday, Year 5 continued their weekly science lessons on the topic of 'Materials.' This week students were investigating how the shapes of different structures can affect their strength. They made different shaped columns out of paper and then placed books on top to test the strength. The students have enjoyed practicing the scientific skills of predicting, conducting experiments, recording results and making conclusions. Group work was the key and they really supported each other to achieve their best.
Thank you to the Fabulous Year 5's and their families.
