Design Thinking in Year 5
This week, Year 5 have been engaged in the design and production process as they considered ways in which the damage caused by earthquakes could be minimised. In this task, the students were asked to design and create a model house to suit an area which is prone to earthquakes. Their models were tested out on a bed of jelly which was wobbled to simulate an earthquake.
