 What a beautiful day to learn to surf! Year 5 are having a blast at Palm Beach on a Friday. 

Digi Ed Claymation Workshop

Yesterday, the students spent the day creating a claymation movie.  This was a collaborative venture and its success depended on each student's willingness to engage learning muscles in Reciprocity for the duration of the workshop. It was a delight to witness the students engagement in the  'give and take' of reciprocal learning which allowed them to become absorbed in every step of the film-making process.  The end product was most impressive and the group videos can be accessed through the St Luke's, Bayview folder on the Digi Ed website.

   

School Captains

 A big congratulations to Emily and Aram, the new school captains for 2021.

Well done to all those who presented speeches on Monday. They were all of such a high standard!

Making Music

Music lessons are always a fun, creative time! Today Year 5 worked in groups, creating their own composition of 'Bogalot Road'.

Athletics Carnival

It was a pleasure to accompany the Year 5 girls as they proceeded through the events at the carnival. They displayed a wonderful sporting spirit and had a lot of fun, especially with the novelty events.

Yearning for Year 6!

This week the students have been putting in their applications for the Year 6 Leadership roles. They were also fitted for their Year 6 jerseys and are very excited about having these as part of their uniform next year.
