Stage 3 Debating

This week, the students of Year 5 and 6 participated in their first debating session for the term. Our Year 5 students have had some experience of debating which they gained when they joined with their peers at Dee Why for an introductory day last year. However, the Year 6 students will play a very important role in helping our students refine their debating skills over the next few weeks. The topic for this week's practice debate was: Father Christmas has a harder job than the Easter Bunny.  Both teams came up with some creative and persuasive points as well as some very humorous rebuts.
